One enhancement Prosentient has made to Koha is a modified Self-Checkout system that can work offline. Koha has a browser based self-checkout system built in, but the main difference is that the StandaloneLMS doesn't require a connection to your remote database.
The StandaloneLMS client has recently had some information about it added to our Support page on the site, so you can find answers to these questions:
- How do I use the StandaloneLMS software to check out books?
- How do I install the StandaloneLMS program?
- How do I configure the StandaloneLMS program?
If you're interested in the StandaloneLMS don't hesitate to Contact Us.

We are pleased to announce the release of a new system preference for Koha: SearchGlobalBranch.
This system preference allows you to specify a branch which is always searched in addition to any specific branch selected. Typically this would be your "electronic resources" branch.
